Collin Kindinger

Collin is Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS). He developed interests in the areas of orthopedics, work and industry, and ergonomics while completing his schooling.

During his time enrolled in Huntington’s OTD program, Collin developed a capstone project focused on ergonomics and injury prevention. He contacted Steel Dynamics and completed a formalized needs assessment which displayed how an ergonomic program could be implemented in the company to mitigate the risk of injury. He partnered with them to help develop this program with the goal of preventing injury among their aging workforce. Following completion of this project, Collin has remained at SDI to continue to promote the importance of ergonomics among their workers.
